After sailing nearly 9,000 nm over 18 months — from Panama, west across the vast Pacific Ocean — we made landfall in New Zealand. For many cruisers, this is the finish line. They sell the boat, head back to land, and start a new chapter. But for us… this isn’t the end. We have something different in mind, but it’s not without a few bumps in the road.
